Post op day 7.


One week. Today has been a super weird day, it was for sure the best night so far despite hardly being able to sleep at all. I just tried to meditate all night and in times I did fall sleep for parts of the night. It’s sleeping in the chair that’s not been easy and I slide around a bit in my rest. I woke up feeling like gas and tummy aches but little to no pain. 

It’s now nearly dinner time and I had McDonald’s and had a visit with my mother. I’ve been in a lot of pain since earlier. It feels like in my pubic mound and its like electricity or pins and needles in just my left side of my vagina. It’s so uncomfortable I fear I am feeling the cuff today inside of me. I’m worried about why but at the same time I am aware that it is my nerves like coming back to live. I’m hoping this will be the only day it’s feeling that way. There has been nearly no bleeding or spotting since about day 4 or 5 which is amazing. Also my incision seems externally closed and the bandage ready to come off. 

It was hurting pretty bad and weird for a while there today but I took some more Tylenol and had a nap and now I am feeling a bit better for sure. It should be my last or last couple nights in the living room chair. 

I am still eagerly waiting the pathology report.
